Tired of chain stores? Upper Main Street is filled with unique boutiques (including many local designers) and fantastic restaurants and cafes. Come on out, bring a couple of friends and make a night of it. Participating merchants will be open late to welcome you. Each business will be doing something special for ChicWalkers, so make sure you hit as many businesses as possible!
Who is ChicWalks?
ChicWalks provides detailed Shopping Walks for a variety of great shopping areas, including Main Street. Now you can take to the fashion streets with our cutting edge mobile technology! We recently launched the ChicWalks Vancouver Shopping app for iPhone and iPod Touch users, available for free on the iTunes app store (search for “chicwalks,” “shopping vancouver” or “vancouver shopping.” Features include GPS-mapping, Chic Gifts (exclusive offers in the form of digital coupons) and Secret Wishes (send a secret desire to your husband, friend or co-worker and Ms Chic will gladly pass it along). Wink.
How do Shoppers Access the Shopping Walks?
Download the app and browse the merchant listings before you come to the event. Or, the Chic Crew will be available all evening at District Main to assist shoppers in downloading the app to their iPhone or iPod Touch, or to load the web version to their smartphone (Blackberry, Google phone, etc.)
